The Blaine County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) provides law enforcement services to one of the largest and most geographically diverse counties in San Andreas, spanning desert communities, rural ranchland, and mountain foothills.
With a relatively small population spread across a wide area, BCSO deputies often cover large patrol zones and work closely with neighboring agencies on search-and-rescue and wildfire-related incidents.
Jurisdiction
BCSO has primary jurisdiction over unincorporated Blaine County, including the communities of Sandy Shores, Grapeseed, Harmony, and the surrounding Grand Senora Desert and Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness areas.
Local Programs
- Desert Patrol Program — specialized off-road patrol coverage for remote areas.
- Community Watch Partnerships — coordination with rural community associations.
- Wildfire Response Liaison — coordination with state fire agencies during wildfire season.
