Each county office within SASO organizes its deputies into operational divisions. While staffing varies by county, every county office maintains a Patrol Division as its primary point of contact with the public, and participates in the shared Professional Standards Division programs described below.
Patrol Division
The backbone of day-to-day law enforcement — responding to calls for service, conducting traffic enforcement, and maintaining a visible presence in our communities.
Professional Standards Division
Oversees internal affairs, training standards, and specialized units including the K9 Unit, P.A.C.E., and the Field Training Program.
