Roxwood County Sheriff's Office celebrated the opening of its new Harbor District Substation this week, marking a significant investment in coverage for the county's growing waterfront community.
The substation will house a dedicated marine patrol unit as well as general patrol deputies, and is expected to reduce average response times in the area by several minutes.
