The San Andreas Sheriff's Office today announced the launch of a new Community Patrol Initiative, a coordinated effort between the Blaine County, Los Santos County, and Roxwood County Sheriff's Offices.
The initiative will place additional patrol deputies in high-traffic public areas, increase foot and bike patrols in commercial districts, and establish regular "Coffee with a Deputy" community meetings.
"This is about building trust and staying connected with the communities we serve," said a SASO spokesperson. "Our deputies are part of these neighborhoods, and we want residents to know they can approach us anytime."
The program begins next month, with scheduling details to be posted to each county office's page.
